Cancellation Policy

48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change your appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible by email or text message, as this will allow us to offer this time to another child who requires our service.

If the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of its start time for any reason, we will need to charge the full amount. There may be individual emergency circumstances which we will be able to waive this fee, however, it is on a case by case basis, and you may still be required to pay a small venue surcharge.

If you are late for your appointment, your session will still conclude at the allocated time.
If you fail to show for an appointment (without any prior notice), a 100% cancellation charge will be applied. The charges will be made automatically without notification.

We charge a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This is because, unfortunately, some families do not attend booked appointments or cancel with little notice which means we are unable to offer the appointment time to another family.

Kids Power OT will usually try to send you a text reminder 48 hours before the start time to assist in case of any last-minute changes to your schedule.

This is to remind you when your therapy session is taking place, and to give you an opportunity to reschedule should something has arisen in the meantime.

However, this may not always be possible so please inform the therapist if you have a question about your next therapy date.

Cancellation by us

We try to keep every appointment we make, but medical emergencies and unforeseen circumstances mean that we sometimes have to cancel appointments. If this happens, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused and will arrange a new date for you as soon as possible.
