Cancellation Policy

There is a very significant demand for appointments at Kidspower OT service and many children have to wait to see a therapist. We endeavour to see the children as quickly as possible and one of the ways we minimise waiting times is to reduce the number of unused appointments.

As you will be given a protected time slot, it means your therapist cannot offer this appointment to anyone else. We would ask you to ensure that you keep your therapist informed in well advance of any upcoming holidays or other commitments you are aware of so that your appointment slot can be allocated appropriately.

Cancelling Assessment Session

If you cancel your assessment appointment, after your assessment process started that includes confirming an email and receiving the questionnaires / other forms from Kids Power OT, you may still be required to pay a small surcharge – 25€.

If you cancel your assessment appointment after completing the telephone parental interview and before your face- to face contact, you will be required to pay 50% of the assessment fees. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you do not give us 72 hours’ notice that you will not be attending your scheduled assessment appointment you will be charged in full for this appointment. There are no exceptions to this. This is because, without adequate notice, your therapist is unable to use the time allocated to your appointment. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Late for Your Appointment

If you are late for your appointment, your session will still conclude at the allocated time.
If you fail to show for an appointment, a 100% cancellation charge will be applied. The charges will be made automatically without notification.

We charge a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This is because, unfortunately, some families do not attend booked appointments or cancel with little notice which means we are unable to offer the appointment time to another family.

Cancellation by us

We try to keep every appointment we make, but medical emergencies and unforeseen circumstances mean that we sometimes have to cancel appointments. If this happens, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused and will arrange a new date for you as soon as possible.

Refund Policy

Situations in which REFUND may be considered:

We will refund your payment for non-used time if we are not able to arrange an appointment within the short period after cancelling a service by us.

Situations in which NO REFUND will be given

Refunds for used time are not granted under any circumstances. If you are unhappy with the service, no partial or any refund will be given in this scenario. The only possibility which exists in this scenario is that we will consider assisting your queries as soon as possible.
